Our hotel booking comes with free buffet breakfast. Their buffet breakfast is being served on the 9th floor of the hotel.

We had our breakfast at 7:00AM because our tour will start at 8:00AM. When we reached the restaurant, the room is almost full. This is because most of the people checked in the hotel are also tourists, they will leave the hotel early to have more time to explore the area. I first ate my breakfast before taking pictures and by the time that I’m done eating, a lot of people have left already.

After our tour, we went to Can Tho where we stayed overnight. For dinner, it is not included in our tour package and Sao Hom Restaurant was recommended to us by our tour guide to try. It is walking distance from our hotel and located near the river.

Here’s our itinerary for Vietnam: from Ho Chi Minh City to My Tho (Mekong Delta) to Can Tho (Day 1).

Ho Chi Minh City - My Tho - Can Tho Vietnam Tour

At 8.00 am, our guide met us at our hotel, Mi Linh hotelthen we departed Ho Chi Minh City to My Tho by van. The van has a wide leg room and the seats can be reclined. I had a good nap while travelling to My Tho. During the tour, our luggages were inside the van. We just brought with us our valuable belongings – cash and gadgets.

Along National Highway, we passed by a lot of green rice fields. Carabaos can be see on the field and based from my observation, I can say that carabaos here in the Philippines are “fatter” than theirs.

Our flight arrived at Tan Son Nhat International Airport past 1:00 in the morning. We needed a place to rest before our tour starts so we booked a room at Mi Linh Hotel. The reason we didn’t book a hotel near the tourist attractions in the city is because we will be traveling to Mekong Delta by 7:00 AM.

Mi Linh Hotel is only 300m from the Tan Son International Nhat Airport. Since it is just near, we decided to walk from the airport to the hotel.

Holiday is not a valid excuse to skip exercising. Especially during this season, we tend to eat more than the usual.

I’ve been a member of Gold’s Gym since 2010 and for the past years during Christmas break, I wasn’t able to hit the gym because I don’t know their schedule. I’m sure a lot of Gold’s Gym members have the same dilemma. So, I’d like to share with you their holiday schedule this year.

I just feel the need to blog about this because recently, I tried to exchange currency at the bank and I kept going back due to incomplete requirements. So in the future to avoid wasting time and effort when exchanging currency again, I will just browse to this blog post and see the complete requirements.

Peso to Dollar Currency Exchange

Different banks have different requirements and it also differs depending on what purpose you will be using the money. What I will be posting here are the requirements that BDO required me to present to them before I could exchange currency. My purpose is for travel expenses.

Here are the requirements:
