Entry Deadline

This promotion will conduct sweepstakes drawings that award a winner an Apple iPhone 4S and LifeProof Prize Pack. Entries are admissible after mentioned LifeProof Facebook milestone ‘likes’ have been reached over the course of four weeks (1 winner will be randomly selected at 20,000 likes, 2 winners will be randomly selected at 25,000 likes, and 3 winners will be selected at 30,000 likes). My bf belonged to the team wearing white jerseys. He was one of the starting five of their team. And because he is tall, his playing position is center. I’m not really a fan of basketball. I’m more interested in volleyball, but when he started playing and joining leagues, I became interested and I always wanted to watch all of his game if I’m not busy.

Their team won the game with the score of 70-47. Next stop, we went to Landmark in Makati, and I shopped for new clothes. He bought me those clothes as his presents for me for Valentines. One time, he gave me a gift before. When I opened the present, I saw a lovely dress. However, when I fitted it, it’s too big for me. So to avoid this thing to happen again, he let me fit the clothes and afterwards, he will pay for it.

We had our lunch date at Banana Leaf Power Plant Mall. We ordered Thai Style Fried Rice with Shrimp Paste, Stir Fried Chinese Kangkong with Sambal Sauce, Malayan Beef Curry with Potatoes and Calamares.

I won 2 free “THE VOW” movie passes from the contest I joined at Martha’s Blog Contest. Thanks to The Beauty Junkee, Carmexph and Zoya Manila for the movie passes to ‘The Vow!’

Before the movie started, there was a short program wherein we were ask to look under our seat’s cup holder if theres a sticker. And if there’s one, we will win one gift pack. Unfortunately, our cup holder doesn’t have one. They also asked questions and the first to give the correct answer was given one gift pack. There’s also a bring me game. One of the items they asked to bring was jacket, and I was the first one to hand to them a jacket. In return, I won a gift pack.

After the program, the movie started. Paige (McAdams) and Leo (Tatum) are husband and wife. They had a car accident and this accident leads Paige (McAdams) in a coma. When she wakes up, she had a severe memory loss and no longer recall her husband. Leo (Tatum) works to win her heart again.

The movies was inspired by a true story. It really touched my heart and it made me cry. If you haven’t watched this movie, it’s not too late. Happy Valentines Day everyone!!!

Before I went home, I dropped by Greenbelt 5 to claim a special gift from Accessorize Philippines. I claimed it at 7 for All Mankind store in Greenbelt 5.

This is such a wonderful show. You might want to go to Eastwood to witness it. Like the dancing lights in Ayala Triangle, this is also worth watching.

I chose to watch the show last December 28, at 7:00pm. I got the complimentary ticket at the venue.

The show was held at SMX Hall 1 & 2. The stage at different angles:

The black colored chairs were for bronze ticket holders, the white colored chairs were for silver, the red chairs were for gold, the blue chairs were for platinum and the black chairs were for VIP. There were steel railings between bronze and silver, another one between silver and gold. Only one entrance for VIP, Platinum and Gold ticket holders.

Souvenir shop was also available inside the hall.

The chairs have tags to identify where you will be seated. I was seated at Gold C – 34.

There were also food being sold inside the hall. Although in the ticket it was indicated that the show would start at 7pm, but actually the show started 7:25pm. We were given time to buy our food first.

The show started with a song number from Britney Spears impersonator. However, I was still at the queue line buying food so I wasn’t able to take pictures.

After 1 hour, we had our break time to stretched our legs and go to the restroom. The events organizer put a stamp on my hand when I left the hall.

20 minutes later, the program resumed.

We were seated at the right side and our view was not good. Get a seat in the middle.

Overall, the show was really great! We really enjoyed the world-class Circus performance! For those who haven’t watched the show, Uncle Sam’s Flying Circus will be here until Jan 1. Shows stars at 4 p.m. and with evening shows at 7 p.m. on Dec. 30. There’s no performance on the 31st but on Jan. 1, there are 2 p.m., 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. performances.

Toy Kingdom Clearance Sale will be until January 1 at SMX Hall 4 from 10 am to 11pm.

I saw Cruise, dine and unwind – 66% off Sun Cruises’ Manila Bay Cruise! deal at a group buying site. Normally, Sun Cruises offers this romantic dinner while sailing around Manila Bay for Php. 550.00. So when I saw this deal, I immediately bought 2 for only P188 each.

Sailing schedules are as follows:
1st sailing: 4:30pm to 5:45pm
2nd sailing: 6:15pm to 7:30pm
3rd sailing: 8:00pm to 9:15pm

I chose 8:00pm because when I booked for our reservation, the only timeslot that has available seat at the upper deck was at 8:00pm.

Docking area was located at the back of the Folk Arts Theater, near Gloria Maris. It was easy to find the venue since there were sign boards pointing to where you should be heading.

You should be there at least 30 minutes before chosen sailing time for registration. After registration, you will be given a boarding pass, food stub and a sticker if you would be seated in the upper deck.

While waiting for the yacht, I took pictures of the scenery first.

There were even fireworks seen from afar.

At exactly 8:00 pm, we were asked to onboard the ship. The crew got our boarding passes. We passed through a yacht before reaching the our final destination.

After passing through the 1st yacht, we next passed through the lower deck. The lower deck was air conditioned.

The restroom was also located at the lower deck. They have only one common restroom.

Finally, to the upper deck,

where we were seated.

Before the cruise started, the crew demonstrated to us where to find and how to use the life vest in case of emergency.

The vest was glowing in the dark.

Then the food was served. Drinks were not included in the deal, so you have to order separately and pay for it.

There were also chips being sold.

While cruising, we were serenaded by the singers on board. I wasn’t able to take picture of the guy.

After eating, I took pictures of the scenery. We even reached near SM MOA.

The cruising time was only for 1hour and 15 minutes. I can say that this was an amazing experience plus the food was also delicious. I recommend that you try this experience too.

I loved the interior of their establishment. I loved the bright and colorful wall paintings of Alice in “Garlik”land and the shelf full of garlic stuffs

Their service was so slow, I’m not sure why, but it took them so long before they could serve our orders.

Here’s what we ordered.

Korean Style Garlic Sesame Beef (P275) – Pan-fried marinated tender beef strips in spicy soy-chili sauce with garlic and sesame seed.

Mushroom Matsuri (P345) – A festival of mushrooms sauteed Japanese style

Krazy Garlik Veggies (P250) - a fresh combination of squash, broccoli, asparagus, and cauliflower sauteed in extra virgin olive oil

The foods were delicious and tasty. Overall, I loved their food, interior except their service.

For those garlic lovers, this is the best place for you to dine.
