ACE Water Spa traces back its concept to word SPA- derived from the Latin Phrase “Salus per Aquam” or “Sanitus per Aquam” meaning Health through Water. Since then, Water has been a vital element in cleansing, relaxing and healing because its curative properties. In England, back in the 16th century, the Romans came up with an idea to undergo “medicinal bathing” to soothe and treat body illnesses by the roman soldiers, thus hydrotherapy was born.

Their main branch is located at 399 Del Monte Ave. cor Banawe St., SFDM, Quezon City, Philippines and they will have their grand opening of their second branch at Pasig on May 21 & 22, 2011. Yesterday, they had their dry run and luckily I was one of the chosen people who got invited to try.

From the outside, upon entering the spa you can see the lap pool, wider than the main branch.

You don’t have to worry about your belongings. Inside the locker room have plenty of lockers; from A-01 to F-96.

You can put 2 bags inside the locker. And you don’t have to worry bringing pad locks and keys because their locker has built in locks and the keys are inserted in the key hole. Just choose a locker, place your things inside, lock it and take your key with you. You can bring your key with you while swimming.

They also have plenty of changing area and shower area. Those with violet curtains are the changing area while those with yellow curtains are the shower area.

Their shower already has shampoo and liquid soap inside.

You may exit the locker room going to the spa area at the far end of the locker room. From there, you will be able to see the top view of the spa area.

Ace Water Spa lets you use its facilities for four (4) hours by paying only P550.00/adult and P250.00/kid (4 ft. & below). Guests should be in their proper swimming attire and swimming caps are also provided to avoid hair fall. Guest should also take a shower first before proceeding to the spa area.

Once you are inside this area, eating and drinking are prohibited. You may eat and drink outside the spa area.

To get here via public transportation, you may ride the bus or MRT and go down at Shaw Blvd. The from there, walk to the jeepney terminal and ride the Jeep going through Pioneer. Go down at Jollibee/Chowking and walk going to Ace Water Spa.

you need to climb the stairs in order for you to go to the locker room and shower room. but if you’re not going to use them, there is a comfort room downstairs where you can change your clothes and also there is an entry point to the facilities. maybe you can try talking to the manager or supervisor. maybe they can give you special considerations. 🙂
