Posted: April 22, 2012 in contest won, Movie

Yey! I won movie tickets to Sector 7 from Movie Punch. The movie is in Korean language but no worries, there are 3 different subtitles available but written in white color. There are time when the background below the screen is white, we can’t read the subtitle anymore.

•Action •Adventure •Science-Fiction •Suspense •A little Comedy

Directed by : Kim Ji-hun

Off the coast of Jeju Island, at the oil rig Sector 7, the crew of oil rig workers are searching for undiscovered oil. Tension builds up among them. Due to countless failures they encounter, they are being ask to stop searching for oil. So when Hae Jun’s (Ha Ji-won) uncle returns, Jeong-man (Ahn Sung-kee), a former colleague of Hae-jun’s father, they decided that they’ll continue searching for oil. What they don’t realize is that he has a different motive. Together with a researcher on board the rig, he plans to breed a newly discovered creature whose bodily fluids can be a source of a new form of fuel instead of oil, until the creature have grown big.

But tragedy strikes as the creature escapes and hunts for its meal, causing deaths of the crews on board. With the creature on board, they begin fighting for their lives. They tried to kill the creature several times but the creature is just amazing that everytime they tried to kill it, it just won’t die. Throughout the movie, I keep on thinking how it will be killed. Of course, I know that the movie would end when the creature is already dead but how will the creature die? I will not spoil the ending anymore. I just love the idea how the creature was killed. Watch Sector 7 to know the ending.
