Honey Beach Resort at Lobo, Batangas

Posted: June 25, 2012 in Adventure, Travel

A week before my birthday, our team decided to have an outing at Honey Beach Resort at Lobo, Batangas. Honey Beach is located at barrio Sawang in Batangas. It took us almost 3 hours of straight driving before reaching the resort.

Upon reaching Honey Beach, we were greeted warmly by the staffs and even helped us carry our things to the cottages.

The resort has limited rooms. They only have 2 cottages (non-aircon), good for 10 persons each cottage, and 2 aircon rooms good for 4 persons. This resort is good for team building activities and if you want some privacy for your group. For rates you may visit their site.

The cottages has 2 floors, 1 bed in each floors and extra mattresses were located at the side of the bed at the 2nd floor.

Each cottage has one comfort room inside and another comfort room outside the air-con rooms. I like their comfort room in the cottage because the floor dries up some time after taking a bath.  It doesn’t remained wet.

They also have amenities like mini golf course, gazebo, mahjong, pool table and videoke that you can enjoy.

You can also reach the resort by riding any bus from Manila that goes to Batangas City and from there take a jeepney going to the town of Lobo and then take another jeepney going to Sawang. I’m not sure what time is the last trip.

Overall, the experience was great. This was a good pre-birthday celebration for me. I really enjoyed the bonding time with my friends🙂 The staffs are really accommodating, friendly and helpful. They assists us in every meal we have. Before we slept, the place was a mess and when I woke up, everything was already neat and clean.
