Sensei Sushi Bar

Yesterday, my friends and I went on a food trip to BF Homes Paranaque. Our first stop was at Sensei Sushi Bar. From afar, I didn’t easily noticed the establishment because the location was between a Thai Spa and a Korean grocery plus  it’s signage was not that obvious to be a restaurant.

Inside the establishment, the ambiance was nice but the place was small. Luckily when we arrived there, nobody was dining yet and we were able to be seated at once.

The store doesn’t have a “printed menu” and their list of dishes were only written on the board and on the mirror across the board. We asked the waiter what were their best sellers and they were accommodating enough to guide us what to order. The dishes also had descriptions on the board which aided us what to choose.

So, here’s what we ordered.

Crispy Philly (salmon and cream cheese rolls) – P 185

They present the dish with the sauce already on the plate. It is crispy on the outside but you can still have a distinct taste of the salmon & cream cheese inside.

Tuna Tartare on Kang Kong – P 160

The KangKong  was crispy and the tuna was yummy. I ate them separately because I’m having a hard time griping them using chopsticks and the tuna keep on falling (although spoon and fork are available, i just wanted to eat them using chopsticks).

Gyoza – P155

Wrap inside was a mix of ground pork with some veggies. The sauce added flavor to the Gyoza which made it more delicious.

Pork Ramen – P 285

Unlike other ordinary ramen, their soup was very tasty and the pork was meaty. While chewing the pork, you can savor the taste of real pork.

After eating, we had our group picture taken. Happy and contented with all the foods we ordered.

So if you are into Japanese cuisine and got tired of the typical katsudon, sushi and ramen, I suggest you should try eating here. The foods are delicious and tasty. We will definitely go back to dine in here again.
