From the previous post I mentioned that we were avoiding areas that has number coding in effect that’s why we headed to Mines View Park first. We arrived at Mines View Park around noon and decided to eat at Cora’s Restaurant.

Upon entering the restaurant, different kinds of native products and “pasalubong” were being sold. The staff approached and directed us to our table.

We were seated at the far end of the room, near the glass windows where we had a clear view of the mountains.

Pen and Ink Sketches of Church

It caught my attention the sketches of the different Philippine churches hanging on the wall. They were being sold but I forgot to take note of the price.

Here’s what we ordered:

Plain Rice

4 Cups of Plain Rice – Php 15 per cup

Kare Kare

Kare Kare – Php 260

Lechon Kawali

Lechon Kawali – Php 200

Broccoli with Beef

Broccoli with Shrimp – Php 210

I just learned through reading an article that their best seller was Chicharon Bulaklak. Too bad we didn’t order that. I did not get the chance to taste their specialty. If you are to visit Mines View Park, Cora’s Restaurant is a good choice to dine.
