Exploring Vietnam: Can Tho – Cai Rang Floating Market – Ho Chi Minh City (Day 2)

We departed Ninh Kieu wharf by shuttle-boat at 8:00AM and enjoyed watching bustling activities along Can Tho riverbanks.

In the river, local people go fishing with plenty of fish traps.

We cruised the river until we reached Cai Rang Floating Market to see the selling & buying activities in the river.

We saw that they have their traditional signal “offering pole” hanging in their boat. In the “offering pole” are the goods hung on the pole to introduce to the people what the boat is selling.

Next, we went to a fruit plantation.

After exploring the plantation, we had free tasting of the fruits.

Then, we headed back to our boat and transfer to Cho An Binh where we meet our van. We travelled back to Ho Chi Minh City and enjoyed our free time in the afternoon.
