Wicked, The Untold Story of the Witches of Oz Comes to Manila this 2014

The world’s popular Broadway musical, WICKED, comes to Manila for a strictly limited season in January 2014.

Wicked: The Untold Story of the Witches of Oz features music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz . It is based on the 1995 Gregory Maguire novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, a parallel novel of the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz and L. Frank Baum’s classic story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Wicked: The Untold Story of the Witches of Oz will now be here in Manila on January 2014. The show will run from January 22 to February 23, 2014, every Tuesday to Friday at 7:30PM and every Saturday & Sunday at 2:30PM & 7:30PM. They will perform at the CCP Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo (CCP Main Theater).

The Full Monty The Broadway Show

The Full Monty is a musical adapted from motion picture of the same name released by Fox Searchlight Pictures. When best friends Jerry Lukowski (Mark Bautista) and Dave Bukatinsky (Jaime Wilson) lost their job, Jerry is threatened to lose his visitation rights with his son if he can’t pay his child support, while Dave feels degraded by his inability to support his wife.. Elsewhere, Dave’s wife Georgie (Ciara Sotto) and her friends are out at a stripper’s club watching the Chippendale performance. Inspired by seeing how much their wives enjoy watching male strippers during their Girls Night Out, Jerry decided to do the same.
