Resort Review: Subic Grand Seas Resort

Once in a while, I take a day off from work and go on a vacation. I went to Subic Grand Seas Resort a couple of weeks ago. Going here, I took the bus ride from Victory Liner Pasay Terminal via SCTEX. I stopped by at Harbor Point for lunch, then walked towards the jeepney terminal where yellow jeepneys were parked and asked the driver to drop me off at the bus terminal. Then from there, I rode the blue jeepney and asked the driver to drop me off at the Subic Grand Seas Resort. The resort was easy to find because it is located along the highway.

Just opposite the resort, you will see the Immaculate Conception Parish.

Exploring the North: Visiting Baguio

I went to Baguio to celebrate my birthday last month with my parents. This wasn’t my first visit to Baguio, but this is my first time I’m blogging about it. I’m not sure when was the last time I’ve been here before this trip. I think it was during our college field trip that was a couple of years ago. Our first stop was at the giant lion’s head. I just took pictures of it then we move on with our journey. Haha.

Because our car was coding that day, we stopped by the police station to ask where are the areas that has number coding in effect so that we can avoid it. While my dad was conversing with the police, I saw this tarpaulin that caught my attention: “Simple Things the Baguio City Police Shall Do for the City” and “Simple Things I Can Do to Help the BCPO”. Cool isn’t it!

Actually, we don’t have itinerary prepared. Since there is no number coding at Mine’s View Park, we decided to have our lunch here and then explore the area. I’ll do a separate blog where we ate our lunch in my next entry.

Mine’s View Park is a popular tourist attraction that should never be missed when visiting Baguio. It has a beautiful scenery that tourists can enjoy.

Resort Review: Villa Sofia Private Resort Pansol Laguna

Last weekend, my team and I went to Villa Sofia Private Resort at Pansol Laguna for an out-of-office team activity. The venue is an hour and a half drive from Manila. The resort is not registered in the Google Maps so I provided a screenshot below where their exact location is. It is located at the far end of Mutya street.

Rental Fee that was quoted to us:
(7pm-6am) – Php 12000
(7pm-5pm) – Php 20000 or 18000 if less than 20

Prior to our arrival at the resort, we provided 50% downpayment to confirm our reservation.
